Milena Markovna Kunis is the daughter of an Ukrainian Jewish couple. She was born in Chernivtsi on August 14, 1983. Her father Mark Kunis is a mechanical engineer and a taxi driver. Kunis is the oldest sister of Michael. Her parents were Holocaust survivors. Russian is her mother tongue.
