Mena Alexandra Suvari, born on 13 February 1979 in America, is an actor as well as a fashion designer and model. In 1990, shortly after starting her career as model, Suvari began acting in TV shows like Boy Meets World. In 1997 she made her acting debut as a film actor on Nowhere. In American Beauty and American Pie the actress gained more recognition for her performances. Her next role was Loser (2000) in which she starred alongside American Pie actor Jason Biggs. Later she played the role of the title role for the film Sugar & Spice (2002). Her appearances were in the independent 2002 drama Spun and the 2004 thriller feature Trauma. She also appeared on HBO's drama Six Feet Under. She was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award 2005 as part of the Outstanding Ensemble. The show also featured her in the film version of Day of Dead as well as The Mysteries Of Pittsburgh, and the film adaptation of The Garden of Eden. Suvari was featured in numerous fashion magazines and blogs, including Vogue. She is also a Lancome model as well as appearing in ads in print in Lancome Paris Adaptive.
