Paula Faris
Paula Faris is an American journalist.
She was previously a TV correspondent for ABC News. Her tenures as co-anchor on
Good Morning America Weekend (2014-2018) and co-host on The View (2015-2018)
are famous. She was previously co-anchor of America This Morning as well as
World News Now. After graduating, she worked in several communications-related
jobs including an operations position at Mills/James Productions in Columbus,
Ohio. She was employed in sales for radio, because of the limited opportunities
for television. She was hired as a WRGT/WKEF production assistant, and later
was promoted to reporter and anchor. Between 2002 and 2005, she was the weekend
sports anchor and weekday sports anchor at WCPO-TV in Cincinnati. Her contract
was terminated , and she became a reporter as well as an anchor for NBC
affiliate WMAQ-TV, Chicago, from November 2005 through December 2011. In
December 2011 she was employed by ABC News the news division of ABC. She made
her debut for the ABC News network on World News Now and America This Morning
on January 2, 2012. She was a correspondent and substitute for Good Morning
America during this period. In the following years, she was made a New
York-based correspondent on all ABC News programs. However, she was not able to
be able to make it to the final show of World News Now or America This Morning.
The show aired on January 22nd the 22nd of January 2013. After Bianna Golodryga
resigned to join Yahoo!, her debut as co-anchor on Good Morning America Weekend
was made August 9, 2014. News. News. Her contract was renewed by ABC to run the
20th season on August 3. Season 21 also saw her renewed as cohost. She was on
the show mostly during episodes on Fridays in the 21st and 22nd seasons.
