She was also on the NBC show Whitney (2011–2013) and ABC's I'm with Her 2003-2004, and TNT's Franklin & Bash 2011–2014. Deborah Rhea Seehorn was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on May 12, 1972. Her mother was an executive assistant for the United States Navy, and her father was an agent with the Naval Investigative Service. She was raised by a family which moved frequently, including the cities of Washington, D.C., Arizona and Japan. As a child, she was inspired by her grandfather and grandmother to learn about drawing, painting and architecture. While she was a lover of all of the arts in her life, it was during this time that she discovered an interest in acting. In college she was introduced to modern theater. She earned a bachelor's degree in Studio Art from George Mason University in 1994. While in college, Seehorn was looking to get into theater, after the encouragement from her acting teacher. To be noticed she was employed in the ancillary positions in D.C.'s theatre industry. She was eventually offered important roles in local theatre productions but had to find odd jobs to help make ends meet; she took roles in various short instructional industrial films. She soon began to be involved in more TV productions. She was often compared to Bea Arthur, whom she described as "very funny," "sarcastic, and very intelligent" women. However, most of these roles were for short-run series that ended after just two or three seasons. In the month of May, 2014, Seehorn was cast in the Breaking Bad spin-off prequel series Better Call Saul. Seehorn portrays Kim Wexler, who is an attorney and the lover of Jimmy McGill/Saul Wellman (Bob Odenkirk).
