Priyanka Chopra Biography

Priyanka Chopra was born in Jamshedpur, India on July 18, 1982. Chopra was crowned Miss India in her high school, and later went on to win Miss World 2000. After that international popularity, Chopra turned her sights towards the world of film and was a massive star within the Bollywood system. American television saw her make waves in the form of Quantico the FBI drama. It was a hit between 2015 and the year 2018. She was also the most popular star in Bollywood due to her union with actor Nick Jonas. The first Bollywood film, The Hero - Love Story of a Spy was released in 2003. The same year, she also appeared in the film Andaaz. This began a long film series that included Plan, Kismat (a romantic comedy about an espionage operative), Asambhav, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Aitrazz, and Asambhav All of which were released in 2004. Although most of these films underperformed at the box office, Chopra found success with the romantic comedy Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. Chopra at the age of 20 made her debut on film in Thamizhan in 2002. She followed up that year with Jeet the Born to Win. Of her debut, Chopra was clear: "I disliked it!" she has said. "I was ready to leave the world of entertainment after I'd completed it!" I was confused about the process I was taking." Nick Jonas and actress Chopra went public about their relationship during summer 2018. Their engagement was announced in July. Jonas is reported to have proposed to Chopra on her 36th birthday. The couple got married at an extravagant celebration that began on December 1, 2018.
