Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan model and actress, was the Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2006 winner. Her career began in Bollywood in 2009 and has been there for the last few years. Jacqueline is often referred to as the Jacq in the hearts of Indians. Fernandez was brought up in an ethnically diverse group of Sri Lankans, Canadians, and Malaysians. Fernandez was raised in Bahrain. After graduation from the University of Sydney in mass correspondence, and then working as an TV reporter for Sri Lanka, Fernandez entered the world of showbiz. In 2006, she served as Miss Universe Sri Lanka's delegate and also spoke at Miss Universe 2006. Fernandez was ranked third in The Times of India's list of the "Most Desirable Woman" in the year 2008. Fernandez was ranked third on The Times of India's "Most Desirable Women" list. Rediff.com included her on their 2013 "Bollywood's Most Dressed Actresses" list. She was ranked as the 62nd most popular actress in the Indian version of Forbes' Celebrity 100 the following year.
